Kent

Kent real estate represents some of the most expensive and luxurious properties in the nation’s capital. A residential neighborhood located in Northwest Washington, D.C., Kent’s boundaries are roughly defined as Loughboro Road to the north, MacArthur Boulevard to the southwest, and Chain Bridge Road and Battery Kemble Park to the southeast.

Proximity to the 57-acre Battery Kemble Park, and the shady, natural beauty that it provides, is by far one of the biggest attractions to Kent real estate. Originally the site of a two-gun battery used to defend the city during the Civil War, the park is now a popular destination for runners and hikers. It’s even become something of an unofficial dog-park for the area’s residents, who can enjoy the relative coolness of the park’s higher elevations during the hot summer months while their dogs play and swim.
