You aren't giving up the amenities of an urban setting—you are simply giving yourself breathing room. The town itself is picturesque, full of historic buildings and an idyllic downtown.

The schools are excellent, and there is an undeniable charm to the town that is quite endearing. The bustling downtown area houses a Metro Station and ample parking, and it's worth noting that a section of the Washington and Old Dominion Trail runs right through town, welcoming runners, walkers, riders, and skaters alike. Recreational opportunities are plentiful, and there are a variety of parks and outdoor spaces perfect for exploring, relaxing, or exercising.
